The Sheep and Goats The Judgement of the Nations
Parable about the time of judgement.
On the Day of Judgement the world's people will be divided into sheep-who follow and obey Jesus- on His right hand, and goats-who choose not to follow His example- on His left, based on acts of mercy and kindness. Those on His right will inherit the Kingdom of God, and the cursed, on His left hand, condemned to the everlasting fire with the Devil and His angels.
Earliest known portrayal of Last Judgement.
Arian bishops taught the parable as an example of human free will and choice between good and evil.
