Healing the paralytic at Cafarnao Capernaum
Synoptic Gospels Matthew (9:1–8), Mark (2:1–12) and Luke (5:17–26).
When Jesus preached at Capernaum the room was so crowded that a paralysed man could not be brought in to see Him. Some men made an opening in the roof above Jesus and lowered the paralytic down. When Jesus saw their faith he forgave and healed him.
The Healing of the Paralytic at Capernaum mosaic was fully restored to its original appearance after damage by an Austrian bomb in 1916.
